Next Generation Leadership

The Young Leader Board supports the members in answering future questions to their potential employers and promotes networking among the Next Generation. Apart from the quantity of a network propagated in the mainstream, it is all the more important to pay attention to the quality of a network and its diversity from the very beginning. Members of the Young Leader Board are representatives of the next generation who have already proven themselves through commitment, excellent results and the mindset to think outside the box in their first professional stations.

Dr. Ilka H. Beimel

Ilka H. Beimel is a lawyer at Noerr in Dusseldorf. She specializes in domestic and international dispute resolution before arbitral tribunals and state courts and advises and represents clients in complex cross-border disputes, in particular in corporate, liability and commercial disputes. She has particular experience with disputes in the field of international sales law.
Prior to joining Noerr, Ilka Beimel worked as a secretary to the Court of Arbitration. In this role and as a party representative, she has experience with arbitrations under the DIS, CAM-CCBC, ICC and LCIA rules. Ilka Beimel is a member of various arbitration law associations and a laureate of the DIS Förderpreis 2021/2022. She served as a rapporteur for the CISG Advisory Council and taught international sales law and arbitration at a Japanese university. She is involved in various other initiatives and is co-founder of the Rheinische Runde zur Streitbeilegung. Ilka Beimel regularly publishes and speaks on issues of arbitration law and international sales law.

Dr. Jochen Feldle

Jochen Feldle is a lawyer at Ufer Scharf in Munich. He studied law at the Universities of Würzburg and Caen Normandie. He received his doctorate under Prof. Dr. Dr. Eric Hilgendorf at the Chair of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure Law, Legal Theory, Information Law and Legal Informatics on the topic of “Emergency Algorithms – Dilemmas in Automated Road Traffic”. In parallel, he supervised courses, gave lectures, and published on legal issues that were regularly at the intersection of law, technology, and ethics. He completed his legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Bamberg and worked for an international commercial law firm in Munich.

Jochen Feldle specializes in tax and white-collar criminal law and advises both individuals and companies. He also provides preventive support for the latter as well as in the context of internal investigations. Prior to joining Ufer Scharf, he worked in the tax and white collar criminal law unit at Kantenwein Zimmermann Spatscheck & Partner. In this field, he regularly publishes in scientific journals.

Laura Fussek

Laura Fussek has been a lawyer since 2019 and a salary partner at Kantenwein Zimmermann Spatscheck & Partner since the beginning of 2024. She specializes in tax and commercial criminal law as well as tax litigation and tax dispute proceedings. In addition to providing preventive advice on criminal tax law and assisting with tax audits, one focus of her work is the representation of individuals as well as domestic and international companies in connection with tax corrections and voluntary disclosures. She also focuses on representing individuals and companies in criminal and administrative tax offense proceedings.

Laura Fussek studied law in her home town at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich and completed her legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Munich with a station at a commercial criminal law firm in California. She publishes in the field of tax law and criminal tax law and holds external seminars on current (criminal) tax law topics. In addition to organizing events and conferences on criminal tax law and white-collar criminal law with experts from the consulting community, the judiciary, financial administration and politics, Laura Fussek herself is involved in specialist events through lectures, participation in discussion panels and moderation.

Lisa Frühwacht

Lisa Frühwacht is a tax consultant at Flick Gocke Schaumburg in Frankfurt am Main. As a graduate in finance, she studied at the Hessian University of Finance and Administration of Justice in Rotenburg a. d. Fulda. In 2022, she also completed the master’s program “Master of Arts – Taxation” at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg i. B., where she is currently working on her doctorate under Prof. Dr. Wolfang Kessler at the Chair of Business Taxation on the topic of “Gesellschafterkonten der Personengesellschaft – eine steuerrechtliche und steuerplanerische Einordnung”. Furthermore, she publishes in professional journals and participates in tax law discussions through blog posts, events as well as lectures.
Lisa Frühwacht advises mainly high net worth individuals and family entrepreneurs on succession issues at Flick Gocke Schaumburg. Her focus is on structural consulting and tax planning for large-volume corporate and real estate assets. Prior to joining Flick Gocke Schaumburg in 2019, she worked in international tax law at a Big Four firm and a boutique real estate investment advisory firm.

Veronika Gaile, LL.M.

Veronika Gaileis a lawyer at A&O Shearman in Frankfurt am Main and specialises in stock corporation and capital market law. In the course of her work, she regularly advises executive and supervisory boards of listed companies as well as domestic and international companies on transactions and corporate law issues and deals with current economic developments, in particular in the technology sector and the financial industry.
Veronika Gaile studied law at the University of Heidelberg with a focus on corporate law and completed an LL.M. degree with a specialization in corporate law at the University of Edinburgh at the top of her class. She completed her legal clerkship at the District Court of Heidelberg with stations at internationally active commercial law firms in Frankfurt am Main and Singapore. In her doctoral thesis with Prof. Dr. Bälz, LL.M. (Harvard) at the Goethe University in Frankfurt, she is working on a comparative legal analysis of preventive legal protection in German and Japanese transformation law. In this context, she spent a five-month research stay at the German Institute for Japanese Studies in Tokyo.

Dr. Alberto Povedano Peramato

Alberto Povedano Peramato completed his law studies at the University of Cologne. Following this, he completed his doctorate under Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Ulrich Preis at the Institute for German and European Labor and Social Law on the topic of “The Right to Strike and International Labor Law”. During this time, he supervised labor law courses. Since then, he has also lectured regularly and published on labor law topics in relevant journals. Alberto Povedano Peramato completed his legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Cologne with stations, among others, at the German Chamber of Foreign Trade in Madrid, a leading German commercial law firm in Düsseldorf as well as in the legal department of a DAX company.
Alberto Povedano Peramato works as a lawyer at GÖRG in Cologne. He advises nationally and internationally active companies on all issues of individual and collective labor law.

Dr. Anja Stürzl LL.M.

Dr. Anja Stürzl LL.M. has been admitted to the bar since 2018, a specialist lawyer for tax law since 2021 and a certified consultant for criminal tax law (DAA) since 2022. Anja Stürzl worked for the law firm Flick Gocke Schaumburg from 2019 to 2023. After a brief stint as an associated partner in a renowned Frankfurt criminal law boutique, she set up her own law firm in Frankfurt am Main in December 2023. Under the name STÜRZL Steuerstrafrecht, the firm has a clear focus on advising private individuals and companies in complex criminal tax law matters and representing them before authorities and courts. In addition, she also advises on typical accompanying offenses, such as allegations relevant to fines in employment and social security law and allegations of corruption.

As a lecturer on the “Certified Consultant for Criminal Tax Law (DAA)” course and guest lecturer at the Federal Finance Academy, Anja Stürzl is actively involved in training and further education. As an author, she regularly publishes on criminal tax law topics in specialist journals and the relevant commentary literature. In addition, as founder and chairwoman of the JuWiSt e.V. association – female lawyers in commercial and criminal tax law – she is committed to promoting young legal talent. As founder of Projekt Empathy e.V., she has set up a scholarship program to equalize opportunities for disadvantaged young people and, as chairwoman of the “Kulturstiftung-Ukraine” foundation, is committed to promoting culture, science and education in Ukraine.
